'Desperate Housewives' star Teri Hatcher is to be honoured in her hometown with a bronze-plated plaque dedicated to her.
The beautiful brunette, who plays single-mother Susan Mayer in the hit show, is being bestowed the accolade by residents of Sunnydale, California, who want a tribute to the actress where they live.
Initially, a statue of the 40-year-old actress, who shot to fame playing Lois Lane in 'The New Adventures of Superman', was set to be erected.
However, local residents vetoed the idea in favour of the plaque.
Meanwhile, Hatcher recently admitted she would happily pose for Playboy - for $10million.
The sexy star - who has a 10-year-old daughter, Emerson, from her second marriage - said she would be prepared to strip off for the famous men's magazine if the price was right.
She said: "Everyone has a price and $10 million is mine. If I had that, I'd be in Playboy! My cleavage you get for free. I mean, it's not much further."
