Sixes Cricket Club has converted the former Alston Bar & Beef Restaurant in Manchester city centre into a smart cricket gastropub.
The newly opened venue has been fitted with futuristic batting cages and has been designed to provide a competitive gaming experience. Sensors are used all around the cages to keep track of the score as well as cutting-edge BatFast technology that allows players to choose the speed and difficulty of the bowl. The venue also allows customers to axe-throw, bowl, golf, shoot and play ping-pong with pints.
Liam Mooney, general manager at the Corn Exchange said: "We are so excited with the latest edition to the Corn Exchange.
"Sixes has thrived at their two locations down south and we can’t wait for the people of Manchester to enjoy the cricket themed bar.
"Having fun and enjoying a day out with friends and family is what the Corn Exchange is all about and Sixes restaurant supplies this aplenty, so we’re sure this is going to be a huge hit once opened."
