At her Washington concert on September 24th, Madonna used her celebrity power to campaign for President Obama.
She urged her fans to support the president, whom she later mistakenly referred to as “the black Muslim in White House”, as reported by the Mail Online.
Although some reports confirm that 17% of US population believes that President Obama is a Muslim, he is thought to be a practicing Christian.
The crowd cheered as the Queen of Pop stripped off her shirt and showed a huge temporary Obama tattoo on her back.
After which, she paid tribute to Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. saying, as quoted by the Mail Online: “It is so incredible to think that we have an African-American in the White House. Those fine human beings did not die for nothing.”
She continued: “So y'all better vote for f***ing Obama, okay? For better or for worse, all right, we have a black Muslim in the White House, okay? Now that is some s***. That’s some amazing sh***.
“It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, okay? So support the man, goddammit!”
