Reality TV show Celebrity Love Island was washed up last night, after fierce storms battered the love camp.
Programme producers were forced to abandon Friday night's eviction after the seas were deemed too rough to transport the show's presenters Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook to the Fijian island which is home to the loved-up celebrities.
While the show's crew remained stranded on the mainland, the celebrity castaways were plunged into darkness as the storm-ravaged island was hit by power cuts.
"It was a freak occurrence. Nobody could have expected this," said a spokeswoman for the programme.
After yesterday's show was cancelled, producers were forced to repeat Thursday's edition with some additional footage.
"We just hope we get everything fixed for tonight's show and get going for the rest of the series," the spokeswoman added.
Meanwhile, a cold rain shower doesn't appear to have cooled Paul Danan's passion for Playboy model Nikki Ziering.
The ex-Hollyoaks actor is suspected of romping with the US glamour girl in bed after fellow castaways heard the pair making groaning noises in the night.
The couple had earlier snuck off for a four-minute fumble in the toilet and had also disappeared into the men's shower for seven and a half minutes.
Confronted the next day over the strange things going bump in the night, the 26-year-old actor denied having sex with his new love interest in the room shared with his fellow celebrities.
Isabella Hervey asked her colleagues, "Did you hear it as well? Did they have sex? In the bed? They wouldn't?
"How could somebody do that though? Don't people have any respect for themselves? Don't you think it's a bit grim?"
Meanwhile, Fran Cosgrove, who last week had a furious bust-up with Paul, said: "Fair play to him, he's over the moon he's pulled this blonde bird. It's a bit pukey for me but if they're happy, who am I to say?"
