Lindsay Lohan has fled to New York after she was quizzed by the Los Angeles Police Department regarding stolen jewellery in a Hollywood party she attended. The actress arrived in New York with her mom Dina and her younger brother Michael Lohan Jr. 

 

Lindsay was reportedly one of several guests at the said party where some expensive jewellery went missing. As standard procedure, Lindsay was called in for questioning along with other guests. Despite her previous brush with the police, Lindsay insisted that she had nothing to do with the missing items. The police does not consider her as a suspect at present. 

 

Just last year, Lindsay was also under investigation regarding an expensive necklace pinched from a jewellery store in Venice, California. 

 

However, in a post on her Twitter page, the starlet denied any involvement in the ordeal, writing: "All of this negative press is BS (bulls**t).... Whenever I'm doing great, people fabricate lies. It's such a shame. I'm just sayin'".

 

Despite being involved in yet another scandal, the actress seemed to be in high spirits as she walked through the New York airport with her family. She was wearing tight leggings, a sheer top, and a vest, and wore dark sunglasses to hide her eyes. Looking at her, there seems to be no memory of her troubled years, which saw her behind bars and in rehab programs. 

 

Lohan is also set to revive her acting career with two movies under her belt at the moment. She will be seen in the TV movie biopic of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton entitled Liz & Dick and in the LA drama The Canyons.
