James Thornton and Charlie Baker have been crowned the winners of Let's Dance for Comic Relief 2011.
The Emmerdale actor and his comedian partner won the competition after receiving the highest number of public votes for their tap dance to Puttin' on the Ritz.
They beat the likes of Russell Kane, Noel Fielding and Katie Price to win the show, which is in its third series.
The pair were presented with their trophy by previous winners Robert Webb and Rufus Hound.
The significance of a non-drag act winning the show was not lost on Webb, after he said:
"Men dressed as men, the template is smashed."
Hound, who also served as a judge in the final, said:
"Understand that the moment you accept this reward for the rest of your lives people will stop you in the street and say, 'Do the dance'."
Hosts Alex Jones and Steve Jones revealed that the show's viewers had raised over £1million for Comic Relief with their votes and texts.
