In an effort to quench his desires luckless Les Battersby instals a hot tub - demolishing his own house in the process.
Streets ahead of the rest of Weatherfield, Les tries to install Corrie's first 40 gallon hot tub.
But he's not prepared to pay for it.
Les, played by Bruce Jones, takes every shortcut he can when installing the tub - including thinking about trying to hook it up to next door's water supply.
Bodging Les finally fills his new purchase - and tries to get down and not-so-dirty with lover Cilla Brown (Wendi Peters).
But the antics of the passionate pair prove too much for the amateur installation and water pours through the floor - eventually seeing the hot tub plummet through the ceiling and into the living room.
Les decides that dishonesty is the best policy and tells council chiefs that it was a properly installed, normal bath that collapsed the ceiling.
"Les is a desperate man and realises his intention of pepping up his love life with Cilla with some bathtime fun has backfired horribly," a Street source revealed to the Daily Star.
"He may even decide to rope builder Charlie Stubbs into his plan of deceit.
"He's so desperate he also considers planting some dry rot in the rubble so that the council think they are to blame because they've neglected the property," the source added.
