Italian startup SmartBug prepares to globally launch its home automation ecosystem on Kickstarter.

SmartBug is preparing to launch its smart home system globally. 

 

The Italian startup, which was founded in 2019, offers an innovative smart home system designed to allow users to easily and efficiently automate their homes. The firm combines collaborative technology and personalised services in a visually appealing device offering consumers a disruptive alternative in the market. 

 

The SmartBugs are specifically designed to replace old wall switches and integrate WiFi, Bluetooth and IR beyond the modern cloud technology. The mesh network allows for a link between the various SmartBugs to create a network that requires no signal repeaters. 

 

Equipped with a buzzer and high-quality digital microphone, SmarBugs are able to manage voice commands of all the smart home functions. The system also offers an intelligent ecosystem control that allows one to save money by recognising and managing the excessive loads of energy and avoiding triggering the circuit breaker.
