Kylie Minogue has thanked Coldplay and Basement Jaxx for paying tribute to her at the Glastonbury festival.
The pop princess, who was forced to pull out of the UK music event after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, was touched when the bands performed her hit single 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' at the weekend.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told the crowd: "Everyone's paid to see Kylie as well, so shouldn't we remember absent friends?"
Kylie - who is recuperating at her family home in Melbourne after an operation to remove a lump from her breast - posted a message on her website, saying: "I was deeply moved to hear about the tributes at Glastonbury. Though I'm desperately sad not to have been able to perform, I was so happy to feel that I was, in a small way, still a part of it.
"My humble thanks to the artists and the crowd. I'm far away but I hope you felt the smile on my face at the joy it brought me.
"Hope a great time was had by all. Love Kylie."
Meanwhile, festival organiser Michael Eavis has invited Kylie to perform at the next Glastonbury festival in 2007.
