Oscar nominee Keira Knightley will make her West End debut opposite fellow British actors Damian Lewis and Tara Fitzgerald.
The starlet will feature in Moliere's 'The Misanthrope' in December, playing American film star Jennifer, the main character's love interest.
Knightley is best known for her roles in 'Atonement', 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and her Academy Award nominated turn in 'Pride and Prejudice'.
Lewis, who will play the title role of a disillusioned playwright, is best known for US war drama series 'Band of Brothers'.
The play opens at the Comedy Theatre on December 17 and runs until March 13.
The updated production, adapted by celebrated playwright Martin Crimp, transports the setting from 17th century Paris to modern-day London.
It will be directed by Thea Sharrock, whose previous credits include directing Daniel Radcliffe in the critically acclaimed West End production of 'Equus', and later on Broadway.
Knightley recently completed work on two films, 'London Boulevard' and 'Never Let Me Go'. Both are set for release next year.
