Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has been charged for the assault of Toronto limo driver.
This legal woe comes a week after he was arrested and charged for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
The 19-year-old teen sensation handed himself in at a Toronto Police station where TV crews, news photographers, and screaming teenage fans were waiting for him.
His lawyer claimed that he is innocent. He also said that he expects the case to be treated as a summary offence.
Meanwhile, Toronto police released a report on what allegedly happened in the early hours of December 30.
Police statement said: "While driving the group to a hotel, an altercation occurred between one of the passengers and the driver of the limousine.”
"In the course of the altercation, a man struck the limousine driver on the back of the head several times.
"The driver stopped the limousine, exited the vehicle and called police. The man who struck him left the scene before police arrived."
Meanwhile, he was arrested in Miami Beach in the early hours of last Thursday after he was pulled over on suspicion of racing a hired yellow Lamborghini on a public street. He was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and driving on an expired license. He was later released on bail (£1,500).
