Jennifer Lopez's new album is floundering and is set to crash out of the US top ten after just three weeks in the charts.
The sexy star's comeback record, 'Rebirth', has sold just 400,000 copies so far, entering the Billboard Top 100 at number two before slipping down to number four.
But sales forecasts for this week show the record has sold only 40,000 more copies leaving J.Lo fearing the album is going to be a major flop.
A source is quoted by Scotland's Daily Record newspaper as saying: "Jennifer is devastated by these numbers. It shows that her grip on the public's imagination is slipping and, let's face it, the album isn't that good. With the amount of flops she's had in her recent movies, she's pretty upset."
Despite starring in a string of critically savaged movies, including 'Gigli' and 'Jersey Girl', the singer - who is married to Latin singer Marc Anthony - has previously enjoyed an extremely successful music career.
Lopez's last album, 2001's 'J.Lo', sold an incredible four million copies in the US and enjoyed major commercial success in the UK and Europe.
