'EastEnders' star Jessie Wallace will be able to choose her own new series when she leaves the soap in October.
BBC bosses are reportedly working on a number of scripts for the award-winning actress - including a costume drama, a thriller and a comedy - and Jessie will asked to pick which one she prefers.
An insider revealed to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "The BBC have high hopes for Jessie and are planning to create a star vehicle in which to showcase her talents.
"There are lots of ideas out there but Jessie wants to make sure that what she is doing is absolutely right for her career."
Jessie, who plays feisty Kat Moon in the long-running soap, recently admitted she is desperate for more children - and wants to become a "baby machine".
The actress gave birth to her first child, daughter Tallulah, last November, and she says she is now broodier than ever.
She revealed recently: "I've never had a maternal bone in my body. But now I just want to be a baby machine. It's the most amazing feeling in the world.
"I can't wait to have more. I'd happily have another one right now if I could. I want lots of kids."
