Britney Spears wed dancer Kevin Federline at the weekend in a ceremony in California.

The princess of pop tied the knot with her 26-year-old fiance at a friend's home in Studio City.

Earlier this year, the singer married her childhood friend Jason Alexander after a boozy night out in Las Vegas.

The "joke" marriage lasted just three days.

This time it's for real though and Britney is hoping that her new husband will take to the limelight.

Ms Spears has been quoted as saying that she wants to star in a real life TV series with Kevin, along the lines of Jessica Simpson's The Newlyweds.
