Gwyneth to stay in UK

Gwyneth Paltrow has vowed to never leave Britain.

The 'Shakespeare in Love' actress - who is married to British musician Chris Martin - says she loves living in London and would never want to return to her native America.

She told Britain's Now magazine: "People think it's strange that I want to live here. London's where my husband lives and works. There are parks everywhere and lots of places to walk. It's not has hectic as New York and not as vapid as Los Angeles."

The 33-year-old actress says she even prefers her British friends to the ones back in US.

She said: "I really like my friends here. They're intelligent and they're not looking over my shoulder at dinner to see if there's anyone better walking in."
