Former president Pervez Musharraf taken in by police
Ex-General Pervez Musharraf was held by Pakistan police

The former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf was taken in by police while at home, it has emerged. Mr. Musharraf was guided by officials to a court house on Friday.
According to reports, Mr. Musharraf co-operated with Pakistan police, and also he was not put in handcuffs.
This is in regards to charges concerning an unlawful detention of judges from five years ago.
As referred to in one report by The Telegraph, Mr. Musharraf posted a comment on the social network site Facebook after court.
It said that “the allegations leveled against me in the detention of judges case could not be further from the truth”.
It also read: “These allegations are politically motivated and I will fight them in the trial court, where the truth will eventually prevail.”
