A spin-off of the hit show Footballers' Wives is set to be even raunchier than its sex- and scandal-driven original.
ITV bosses have confirmed that Footballers' Wives - Extra Time will hit our screens in the spring, focusing on the late night antics of the soccer stars and their wives.
The drama will be screened after the watershed and will be a mix of storylines involving some of the show's most popular characters and factual documentaries.
Unusually, it will be shown on ITV2, making it the channel's first ever original drama series.
An insider told the Daily Star: "The spin-offs will be a mix of fictional dramas using some of our well known characters and some real life stuff too.
"Fans won't be disappointed."
Meanwhile, the new series of Footballers' Wives is set for high drama when lesbian Hazel Bailey, played by Alison Newman, takes over at Earls Park FC.
And viewers will be able to see what happens to love rivals Tanya, played by Zoe Lucker, and Laila, played by Laila Rouass, who both discovered they were pregnant at the end of the last series.
