Facebook Messenger is offering an innovative way to help you celebrate Halloween at the comforts and safety of your own homes. It has recently released a collection of revolving new artwork and Augmented Reality (AR) to allow everybody to have fun while ensuring they are following the physical distancing protocols currently in place.
Highlights include a new Halloween sticker pack, a new haunted house packed with terrifying surprises and hundreds of horrifying new backgrounds and filters.
Graham Hill, Creative Director of Messenger told Express.co.uk: “Just because you can’t physically be together for Halloween, doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate.
“We couldn’t be more excited for you to visit the fantastical world of Dr. MadHaus’s Halloween Mansion with your friends and family this October.
“This is our first augmented reality experience on Messenger this year — all of our designers and partners came together to create a scary yet fun virtual Halloween treat that unfolds throughout October.
“Whether you decide to show up to your video call as a headless waiter or take a selfie as the Bride of Frankenstein, you’re sure to have a scary good time.”
Every week this November Messenger will allow its users to hang out in a different themed room of Dr Madhaus's Halloween Mansion, which features animated 360-degree backgrounds and AR effects on video calls and in Messenger rooms.
