Easter Sunday is the coldest on record, says Met Office
The temperature on Easter Sunday, 2013 was -12.5c according to Met Office.

Met Office has confirmed that Easter Sunday 2013 was the coldest Easter day on record with a temperature of -12.5c in Braemar in the Scottish Highlands.
The previous coldest was Easter Monday in 1986 with temperature of -9.8C. It is expected that Easter Monday will remain very cold.
March 2012 is also declared as the coldest since 1962 in UK with average temperature of 2.5C, which is three degrees below the long-term average.
March 2013 is also a very cold month for individual nations.

It is likely to be the fourth coldest on record for England, joint third coldest for Wales, joint eight coldest for Scotland, and sixth coldest for Northern Ireland.
