TV gardener Charlie Dimmock is waiting anxiously for any news of her mother and stepfather who were caught up in the tsunami disaster in Thailand.
The Ground Force star's mum Sue Kennedy, 59, was staying in the popular resort of Phuket with husband Rob, 60, when the tidal wave hit.
There has been no news from either of them since the disaster on Boxing Day, the Daily Star reports.
A close friend of the 38-year-old TV star told the newspaper: "Charlie is devastated at the moment and is obviously thinking about nothing else.
"But now so much time has gone by, she is becoming resigned to expecting the worst. Friends are trying to comfort her."
Charlie's dad Terry, who split with Sue 22 years ago, added: "Charlie is worried sick about her missing mother.
"We have not heard any news at all about Sue and Rob, which is very frustrating."
Charlie has described her mum as "a real Sixties hippie" who inspired her love of gardening.
About 150,000 have now been confirmed dead in the tsunami disaster in south-east Asia.
