The RAC have called into question the price of diesel on the forecourts.

Wholesale price of diesel is 1p more than petrol, yet at the pump, the difference is 5p. In light of this, the RAC are calling for 4p reduction of diesel at the pumps.
Experian Catalist's latest average figures state that diesel at the pump was 118.31p and unleaded was 112p as of 22nd March 2015.
Diesel sales are increasing at a greater rate than petrol, with a 4.5% increase in February 2015 than in February 2014. Petrol was up 2% in February.
Simon Williamson an RAC Fuel spokesperson says that it does rather look like the fuel companies are taking drivers, "for a ride."
Over the last few weeks, oil costs have started to recover some of their 60% loss and in response to this, fuel prices have also increased.
