'Big Brother' presenter Davina McCall gave birth to a baby boy last night (14.09.06).

The TV star delivered the tot, her first son, at her family home in Surrey and the baby weighed in at a healthy 10lb 2oz.

Davina, 38, and her husband Matthew Robertson, 39 - who already have two daughters, Holly Willow, four, and two-year-old Tilly, together - are naming their new arrival Chester, and are both said to be "thrilled".

A source said: "Davina had a natural birth just like her other two. There were no complications and everything went smoothly. They are both thrilled to bits."

It was widely speculated that Chester's birth would occur during the last series of 'Big Brother'.

TV bosses insisted the heavily pregnant presenter even kept a birthing kit in her dressing room in case of an on-air emergency.

Davina is set to return to TV in January, when she hosts the next run of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
