Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (Cumbria LEP) and Allerdale Borough Council are launching an event that highlights how virtual reality technology can help enterprises better promote their products, services and projects.
The free ‘drop in’ session will be held on 10 July, from 12pm to 3pm at Cumbria’s LEP’s headquarters at Redhills Conference Centre, Penrith.
Joe Broomfield, rural and visitor economy lead for Cumbria LEP, said: "This free demo event gives Cumbrian businesses and organisations the chance to experience VR technology first-hand and talk to us about fully immersive VR experiences to promote visitor attractions or other local products and services,”
The event is building on a project funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development LEADER Programme, called Destination ALlerdale Virtual Reality Project.
