Acid-tongued X Factor judge Simon Cowell savaged two contestants on last night's show by comparing them to Vicky Pollard, the chav teenager parodied in the hit comedy series, Little Britain.
Fiona Griffiths and her musical partner Pam Edwards were hoping to impress the judges with their rendition of the Bryan Adams hit, "Summer of 69".
But the duo, who go by the name of Total Eclipse, stormed out of the Cardiff auditions after Cowell told a stunned Fiona, "you look like that character in Little Britain".
"Vicky Pollard!" gasped friend Pam, catching on.
"You mean I look like a man?" Fiona stormed in response.
"No you don't look like a man, you look like a man who is dressed up as a woman," clarified Cowell, who claims X Factor is "turning into the musical equivalent of Little Britain".
The music mogul then turned his attention to Pam, telling her she looked like a "stretched version" of her Vicky Pollard look-alike bandmate.
But Pam has failed to see the funny side of Cowell's comic comparison and claims she was admitted to psychiatric unit suffering from depression days after being savaged by X Factor's cruellest judge.
"Simon thought he was being funny, but he absolutely destroyed me. I don't know how he sleeps at night," she told the Sunday Mirror.
