Making its UK DVD debut on April 28th, runaway horror sensation SCARECROW will scare you silly. Released via Three Wolves, we've got copies to give away to lucky winners at Supanet! 

 

Airing on the U.S. Syfy network as part of their 31 Days of Halloween promotion, SCARECROW scored more viewers for an original movie premiere than any other in the past seven months. Even beating the Summer's much hyped Sharknado, with nearly 1.6 million viewers. 

 

With the Scarecrow Festival on the horizon, School Teacher Aaron Harris (Robin Dunne - Sanctuary) decides to punish six students serving detention by tasking them with the job of tidying up their colleague Kristen's (Lacey Chabert - Mean Girls) family farm before it's sold on. 

 

However, the cornfields circling the farm host a dark secret, and Tyler takes macabre delight in recounting the tale: "It never sleeps, it never dies, it can't be stopped, hear their cries. The Scarecrow lives to kill us all. Keep it buried in the fall..."

 

After what the students believe is a terrifying game of cat and mouse in the cornfield with a wild animal, Kristen tries to convince them that the Scarecrow is a very real creature of fierce strength and power. As darkness falls over the rustling fields, the last survivors must fend off the flesh-ripping terror. For the terrified prisoners of Miller Farm, seeing the night through seems a distant reality, especially in light the tale's final, desperate warning: "Beware the mark, the end is near, your death is certain, run in fear...."
