Colchester’s Castle Park Streaming Films
Colchester’s Castle Park confirms summer screenings to include Bridget Jones’s Diary and Beauty and the Beast.

This summer, Colchester’s Castle Park will screen five films between July 2 and 15. The movies weekend will kick off with British comedy Bridget Jones’s Diary on July 6 followed by a musical favourite, Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson on July 7.
The Great Showman, which stars Hugh Jackman, will also be screened. The film was nominated at the Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture while Jackman was nominated for best actor.
Sunday afternoon’s screening will be Disney’s Moana followed by Starwars’ The Last Jedi.
Annie Feltham, Colchester Council’s portfolio holder for commercial services, said: “Summer Screen in Castle Park has become a hugely popular feature of Colchester’s annual event calendar.
“It’s the perfect way to bring the people of Colchester together to enjoy sport and films within the beautiful and historic setting of Castle Park.”
Tickets will be available from Friday at 10am via the Mercury Theatre Box Office or in person at the Hollytrees Museum Visitor Information Centre.
Advance tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for children. A family ticket for two adults and two children is £20.
