In his first interview since he was axed from Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson admits, “sacking was my silly fault.”

In his first ever interview after losing his Top Gear hosting stint, Jeremy Clarkson admitted that “sacking was my silly fault” and that he has no idea what he will do next. He added that he was “very sad” after learning that BBC decided not to renew his contract after working for the company for 27 years. 

 

He said: "It was my own silly fault so I can hardly complain.

"It was very much my baby, I absolutely adored it and I worked all the time on it, I worked all through the night on it," he added.

 

 He also admitted that the situation left him with a big hole but “would never say anything bad about the BBC.”
