Charlotte Church spent a drunken evening in Edinburgh before going to watch her new boyfriend play in the Wales vs. Scotland rugby match.

After jetting into the Scottish capital, the opera star slipped on a sash emblazoned with "girls on tour" before embarking on a bar crawl across the city

Charlotte was later seen being helped to stand up straight by friends and telling photographers to "p*** off" after reportedly spending most of the afternoon and evening drinking cocktails at classy hang out Rick's Bar.

The following day, a hung-over Charlotte watched her lover, Gavin Henson, and his team-mates, thrash Scotland 46-22.

However, the sexy singer was not allowed to celebrate with Gavin as his bosses whisked him off before she could even say hello.

The 'Voice of an Angel' star might have more luck next weekend when the Welsh team play in Cardiff, when she will sing the national anthem.

Charlotte insists she'll be behaving herself the night before the game: "I will be staying in on the Friday night before the match to rest my voice."

Church has been dating Gavin, recently voted Wales' most eligible bachelor, since the messy break up of her relationship to Kyle Johnson last month.

The couple are reportedly very close, with Church introducing her new man to her mum last weekend.
