Candice Stowe, the Corrie coiffeuse, is set to make a move on Adam Baldwin, Mike's son.

But the practical-minded young lady, played by 21-year-old actress Nikki Sanderson, only has her curiosity piqued when she finds out that Adam is heir apparent to the Baldwin bank balance.

Candice has a history of gold-digging. She once dated footballer Warren Baldwin, but quickly shed him when she thought he had lost his contract.

A Weatherfield mole said of her latest fling: "It's typical Candice. She's not interested in the lad, just his money.

"But it will all end in tears as usual," the insider told the Daily Star, leaving Corrie viewers in little doubt as to the fate of Candice's money-making venture.

According to her friends Nikki Sanderson wants to be the new face of L'Oreal once she leaves Coronation Street. So it looks as though the making of moolah comes naturally to the young actress.
