Bruce Willis confirmed that he will indeed donate his ski resort in Idaho to charity.
The actor bought his ski resort back in the late 1990s, but has now decided to turn over the ownership and operations of the resort to the non-profit group Soldier Mountain Ski Area Inc.
The movie star himself made the announcement in his official statement, saying: “I couldn't be more pleased with the organization that will be responsible for the management of the Soldier Mountain Ski Area.”
The Soldier Mountain Ski Area group was born when the community of people who ski at the said resort came together.
Willis said that it was ‘exciting to see that the very people who ski at Soldier care so much about its future.”
Willis has been the owner of the ski resort since he bought it when he was still married to Demi Moore. Since then, Willis and his family members have gone there regularly for the past two decades.
Now, he is ready to turn his back to the ski resort, which has been a huge part of his life. To the new owners, he said: “I wish them the very best.”
