Bromsgrove District CCTV Opinions
Residents urged to express opinion on CCTV coverage across Bromsgrove District.

Residents across Bromsgrove District are being urged to share their thoughts on CCTV coverage in Barnt Green, Hagley, Rubery, Wythall and Alvechurch.
The call was made after funding for the CCTV system was received from the North Worcestershire Community Partnership through West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion.
The funding, which has been matched by Bromsgrove District Council, could allow for the upgrading of cameras from analogue to digital and movable cameras. It could also allow for more CCTV cameras to be installed in areas residents have expressed concern about.
Judith Willis, the district council’s head of community services, urged people to take this opportunity to help make CCTV more efficient and fit for the future.
“Understanding how CCTV is perceived locally will help us direct resources to where they’re needed most.”
