Hollywood A-list star Brad Pitt donated £700 to an English hospital charity on November 19th, 2012, while filming his upcoming movie World War Z.
Tricia Wilson-Hughes, who was hosting the event to raise funds for the Princess Anne Hospital neonatal care unit, approached the actor’s security while the filming in and around Dorset was ongoing.
According to reports, the host was worried that their presence might stop other would-be donors from showing up. She then asked if Pitt could donate money for the charity.
Wilson-Hughes was reportedly static after Pitt’s bodyguard came back with envelope containing more than just a few dollars.
She said, as reported by BBC news: “He said if he had more he would have given it. I said, 'Honestly, that is more than enough, but if he wants to do anything in the future that is absolutely fine.'
"You hear negative stories about A-listers but I won't hear a wrong word against (Brad), I am in awe of him.”
