Susan Boyle has landed herself a role in hit US series 'Ugly Betty' according to reports.
The Britain's Got Talent runner up will appear as herself in the popular US comedy, following in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham and Naomi Campbell.
Boyle is said to have been first contacted by the Ugly Betty production team a month ago and is eager to take on the part.
A source told The Sun: "Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen. She will definitely play herself."
Since Boyle's first audition became a YouTube hit across the globe, the singer has been inundated with offers from US programme makers.
With an army of Hollywood admirers behind her (such as Demi Moore) Boyle became a household name in America with ease.
However Boyle was admitted to the Priory clinic in London suffering exhaustion after her speedy rise to stardom took its toll.
