Susan Boyle has left private medical clinic the Priory "much happier" and "more like her old self" her brother has said.
The Britain's Got Talent runner-up was admitted to the London clinic on Sunday after what her brother Gerry described as an anxiety attack, following intense pressure during the eight weeks of the show.
After her 'I Dreamed a Dream' audition, Boyle went from an unknown Scottish church volunteer to global sensation in two frenzied months.
Mr Boyle confirmed that his sister had now left the clinic after five days recovery and was staying in a flat in central London.
"She's much happier," he told GMTV. "She seems a lot more like herself."

He also said he would be happy for judge Simon Cowell to manage his sister's career.
"He's been around the dancefloor a few times," he said.
"I'm sure Simon will do a good job for her."
