A fairly subdued 24 hours in the Big Brother house has resulted in pent-up frustration and some serious tension starting to seep out of the male contestants.
Having both been nominated against each other for this Friday's eviction, Maxwell and Science seem to be at the forefront of this breakout of angst.
The pair clashed again after a late night water-throwing prank upset Science and tempers have continually flared since then.
Anthony's patience with Craig is similarly starting to wear thin after continued flirtations on the part of the camp hairdresser started to aggravate the Geordie.
Craig's repeated pleadings to cop a feel of 23-year-old Anthony have been rebuffed as has the suggestion that "even a little snog would do" to calm his raging sexual frustration.
Even good mates Maxwell and Anthony looked at one stage like dissension was on the horizon after their argument about who's better at pulling the birds nearly turned into a heated show of masculinity.
A rising sense of competition led Max to say: "Anthony, you are better looking, but I'd pull nicer birds."
"I don't think so," Anthony replied. "No mate, birds just can't resist me."
Maxwell refused to give up, retorting: "If we went speed dating I would get more numbers than you."
Antony looked unimpressed but Craig then joined in and in doing so cooled their heating egos.
"I'd beat both of you," he said. "Shut up Craig," the lads both instantly replied.
