With the summer holidays just round the corner, Barclays and Woolwich are offering their customers money-off vouchers on Thomas Cook holidays.
They will be dishing out the 50 off tokens, as well as offering commission free currency and free home delivery on all foreign currency.
"In the last year alone," says Paul Morrish, the director of personal customers at Barclays, "our customers spent over half a billion pounds at travel agents, so we know this offer will be welcomed as we move into the peak holiday booking season."
He added: "This is the latest in a series of partnerships we will be offering our customers through 2004, designed to give discounts when they need them most."
Customers can enjoy a further five travel-related offers when booking a Thomas Cook holiday. Firstly, customers continue to get an all year round six per cent discount when booking holidays with Thomas Cook and also have the opportunity of winning a luxury holiday by picking up a scratch card from a Barclays or Woolwich branch before July 1st.
Until the end 2004 customers will also be able to get commission-free foreign currency without leaving their home. With a single phone call, they can order their currency, which will then be delivered free of charge to their door within 24 hours.
Lastly, Barclays' customers can withdraw cash from a variety of worldwide banks, without having to pay the standard cash handling charge of 1.5 per cent. These banks include, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, Westpac, and BNP Paribas.
