The girlfriend of Aviator star Leonardo DiCaprio has announced that she wants to start a family.

The girlfriend of Aviator star Leonardo DiCaprio has announced that she wants to start a family.

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen wants to have a baby with the Titanic star - but only if he marries her first.

"I want three children but I want to be in a happy marriage. I've never been proposed to," she said.

The couple have been going out for two years and split briefly last summer because Gisele "was tired of waiting for him to propose".

DiCaprio has recently quashed rumours that they were going to split for good but refused to discuss his private life any further.

However, he told reporters that he and Gisele are happy together, mainly because they are "good friends" as well as lovers.

"I think that first and foremost in a relationship you have to be friends with the person," he said.

"I do like a girl who has a sense of humour and doesn't automatically make up her mind about me before she's met me."
