After weeks of wrangling a distributer has been found for Michael Moorre's contravesial new film.
Miramax, a division of Disney, produced the film - but Disney pulled distribution rights for it amidst fears that it's anti-Bush flavour could see them lose state subsidies in Florida.
But after a new deal the film, "Fahrenheit 9/11", is set to hit cinema screens in the US on June 25th.
The film has already won a Palm D'or at the Cannes film festival. It charts America's response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York and the links between the Bush family and the Bin Ladens.
The Weinstein brothers, who oversee Miramax, bought the distribution rights to the film from Disney, they will personally finance and control distribution and marketing for the film.
"I am grateful to them now that everyone who wants to see it will now have the chance to do so," Moore said after he heard the news.
"We thank this incredible coalition of the willing for bringing 'Fahrenheit 9/11' to the people."
