Zing is an AI-powered nightlight that is meant to change how you use your nightlights. The plug-in device offers 512 levels of brightness and billions of colour options and light effects to suit your mood. For example, it can automatically reduce blue light emission at bedtime to help you regulate your melatonin levels, which can result in improved quality of sleep.

 

Zing is Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi adaptable. It acts as a visual indicator when there’s incoming phone call or text message to your smartphone. The optional Zing Locator service can be used to track Bluetooth-adaptable devices, such as key trackers, smart watches, and smartphones in a home with room-level accuracy.

 

Zing is built with open technologies and can interface with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and other home automation platforms. It consists of 12x RGB/W full color +2700ËšK warm-white LEDs with a 120-hertz refresh rate. It has a passive infrared sensor, light/dusk sensor and digital thermometer. It also features Wi-Fi 2.4-gigahertz and Bluetooth Smart/Bluetooth Low Energy v.42 connectivity as well as Xtensa Dual-Core 32-bit LX6 microprocessor that operates at 160 megahertz.
