Singer Adele is celebrating her tenth week at number one in the UK album charts.
Her album, 21, experienced its strongest seven-day sales figures to date last week, securing its place at the top of the charts.
A massive 250,000 copies of the album were purchased since last week [27 March], making Adele the first artist to spend ten weeks in a row at number one since 1986.
Adele also broke the record for the longest time at number one in the UK album chart by a female solo artist.
The previous record was held by Madonna and her first greatest hits record, The Immaculate Collection, in 1990.
The London-born singer's second album, 19, remained at number two in the charts after 107 weeks in the top 40.
Adele was knocked off the top of the singles chart by Jennifer Lopez's new single, On the Floor.
