CK Hutchison Networks (UK) Ltd has submitted proposals to build a 5G mast near the Gallows Corner roundabout. In the documents it submitted, the firm said that if approved, the mast will be operated by phone operator Three.
Havering Council is now reviewing the proposals and will decide if they will approve the installation of a 20m high pole on land next to 12 Straight Road. The plans outline a proposed position as being just to the right of the open entry to the housing development, with three additional equipment. The application states that the buildings next to the site are 11 metres in height while an adjacent tree is 13m tall.
The council, which acknowledged the receipt of the application on July 29, has 56 days to consider whether or not to approve it. If rejected, the applicant has the right to appeal within six months.
