53 years after her death, Marilyn Monroe remains to be in demand. It has been announced that Hollywood’s most sought-after blonde, who died in 1962, will be Max Factor’s new face. As the brand’s “global glamour ambassador”, she will take the starring role in this year’s advertising campaigns.
Max Factor’s Pat McGrath, said: 'Marilyn made the sultry red lip, creamy skin and dramatically lined eyes the most famous beauty look of the Forties, and it's a look that continues to dominate the beauty and fashion industry.

in all her iconic glory.
'It is the ultimate look that defines glamour - nothing else compares.'
Monroe, who died at the age of 36 due to barbiturate overdose, came in at number 6 in the Forbes magazine’s annual list of the highest-earning dead celebrities with an estimated earnings of around £11m a year.
Real name Norma Jeane Mortenson, Marilyn was married to baseball star Joe DiMaggio and the playwright Arthur Miller. However, it has long been claimed that she had affairs with President John F Kennedy and his brother Robert.
Her last years were plagued by intrigues, illness, and personal trauma. Some believe that her death was not an accident nor a suicide.
