3 Simple Tips for a Thrifty Christmas
Here are some useful tips to spend a thrifty Christmas.

1.Stop Splashing Out. Survive. Spend.
To survive on the bare minimum and save money for the festive season is very important. Experts suggest spending the rest of the year like mendicant friars… not simply because it saves a lot of cash for the holiday season- although it does- but because Christmas just needs to be a great feast compared to the other times of the year.
If you are an ordinary, healthy person or family, it most certainly will take a lot of time to master the art of surviving, but, hey, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be initiating things this Christmas.
2.Don’t Hang Out with Others, Go out or Meet People
Peer pressure - it is ridiculous.
As your social circle starts to widen, you run the risk of becoming aware of other people’s lives. These could often be more expensive ways of leading a lifestyle. So don’t change yourself.
Stick to your basics and believe in what you know. Never give in to the peer pressure of your circle. Always set the tone according to your wallets. These are some of the best ways to survive when others bankrupt themselves trying to keep up with each other.
3.Let age old tradition replace spending
There is a deep sense of continuity and long-lasting pleasure if the family motto is “all must be like it was”. Moreover, you can save a fortune if you make it a practice of accruing crazy traditions as soon as kids are born. What if your baubles don’t dazzle, or if your tinsel is bald? Sticking to your family traditions has a lot of benefits and best of all it doesn’t cost you a dime.
Here is the final tip and the most important of all.
Remember Christmas is just one day out of the year and you can still have a fairly trimmed-back holiday with all the key trimmings.
Merry Christmas!
