Hollywood beauty, Catherine Zeta Jones has narrowly escaped armed kidnappers, who attempted to force her limousine off the road in Mexico.
The Welsh born actress, who is married to Hollywood heavyweight, Michael Douglas told Sun reporters that she was "really shaken" by the kidnap attempt, which took place yesterday, as she was returning from a movie shoot.
Zeta Jones was saved by body guards, travelling in a separate vehicle, who rammed the bandits car, before giving chase in San Luis Potsoi, four hours from Mexico city.
The security staff were soon joined in the chase by police, who caught up with the four men, who are now in custody.
The actress' driver was able to speed safely away from the scene.
Film bosses have hired extra security for Zeta Jones and her Legend of Zorro co-star, Antonio Banderas, given Mexico's notorious reputation for kidnappings.
The pair will be in Mexico till Christmas filming the sequel to the 1998 movie, the Mask of Zorro.
Meanwhile, Zeta Jones faces ongoing turmoil in her private life as legal proceedings against a woman accused of stalking her continue in Los Angeles.
