The internet is filled with people doing extraordinary stuff and telling quirky stories that keep us amazed and entertained to no end. One of the best places where you can find such is YouTube.
Recently, we have come across a YouTube channel of a guy who have successfully crossed an entire county in a straight line. Tom Davies’ hypothesis was pretty straightforward; walk from one end of a country to the opposite in a straight line. After settling with Wales for its mix of urban and wilderness setting, Davies planned out the 30 mile long route to determine the best way to walk from the English border to Penmaenpool in just four days.
His videos on YouTube were hilarious as he showcased the various challenges he had to overcome as he tried to stay in one direction. This included crossing private properties and being chased by dogs, crossing water route with an inflatable kayak, and crossing farmland, rivers and mountains.
Davies, who goes under the name of GeoWizard on YouTube, offers humorous clips that showed his entire four-day journey. The best parts are when he attempts different accents – we must say that his Yorkshire was pretty good but the Indian accent needs work.
