'World's most handsome crook' Jeremy Meeks lands $30,000 modelling contract following viral mugshot

An LA agency claims that it can book 30-year-old Jeremy Meeks for jobs with high-end fashion houses.

Convicted felon Jeremy Meeks, whose mugshot was posted online last month leading him to become an unlikely object of lust for women across the world, has landed $30,000 modelling contract, according to reports. 

 

An LA agency claims that it can book 30-year-old Jeremy Meeks, who is currently facing 11 felony charges including illegal possession of firearms and gun crime, for jobs with high-end fashion houses. 

 

Meeks, who is from Stockton, California, is being held on $900,000 bail and if convicted, he could be spending several years in jail. 

 

Hollywood talent agent (and former porn star) Gina Rodriguez, who is reportedly representing Meeks said: ‘Everybody has a story, and I, of all people, know that. If this was a different situation, like if someone was actually hurt or there was violence involved, I definitely would not be taking him on.

 

‘But we don’t know Jeremy’s full story yet, and I don’t feel like he got a fair break.'

 

Meeks became famous last month after his striking mugshot was posted on the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page. The picture was “liked” by more than 100,000 people and shared over 12,000 times.
