Woolwich: Cobra meeting to be held
PM David Cameron will head the Cobra meeting in the wake of the Woolwich attack

Britain’s Prime Minister will head an emergency meeting on Thursday morning, 23rd May, with Cobra in the wake of the attack in Woolwich, London. The attack on Wednesday 23rdMay left one man dead.
The Cobra meeting will be held at No. 10 in regards to the horrific incident where a man, thought to be a soldier as of time of writing, was attacked with a machete. Two men were shot by police before being arrested.
The two men were taken to hospital and police have reportedly said they are expected to live.
As of time of press, the two men suspected of being involved in the attack are suspected Islamists, as reported by The Independent.
It has been reported that Muslims have condemned the crime.
There are media reports that one of the suspects spoke on camera following the attack on the man who reportedly wore a Help for Heroes T-shirt. Weapons were left at the crime scene.
PM David Cameron is understood to have shortened his trip abroad in order to deal with the situation in England.
There will be investigations into the crime to try to determine why it happened.
London Mayor Boris Johnson has said: “This afternoon's attack in Woolwich is a sickening, deluded and unforgivable act of violence.”
