Wondrwall, a connected-home technology company, has announced the launching of what it describes as the world’s first truly smart home automation system. The company claims that the system has been designed to convert any homes into intelligent homes empowered to make decisions for themselves.
The system requires changing standard light switches with new switches that contain 13 different sensors that monitor temperature, humidity, power, motion, luminosity, and sound. In doing so, the company said, a typical three-bedroom house could contain a network of more than 100 such sensors, according to the company.
Daniel Burton, founder and CEO of Wondrwall, said, “No other system embeds the equivalent number of sensors into homes and the level of data we capture is the first of its kind in the world.”
“Wondrwall delivers a full intelligent home automation solution covering heating, lighting, security, safety, and music, with voice control – all for a price that’s similar to a standard home security system.
“Homeowners can realise the benefits without having to do anything themselves – this is not ‘control your home from your phone’, but rather a home with a brain and the intelligence to control itself. The home is more efficient, comfortable, safe, and secure, without the home owner having to worry about it.”
