Women’s contributions overlooked in faces of banknotes

There are times when we overlook important matters such as the faces on banknotes or even travel insurance.

Another change in banknote faces will leave the Queen as the only female represented on any of the currency. It appears that Jane Austen may be celebrated on banknotes in the future, but Labour leader Ed Miliband is expected to speak about issues with attitudes in society towards women and how there is room for improvement. Many times the same tendency can be seen in certain business such as insurance and banking.

With a significant portion of customers and workers being women, it should make sense to ensure that they are equally represented when they do have noteworthy accomplishments. It’s easy to occasionally overlook certain components of culture because we’re constantly immersed in it, just as we sometimes overlook the need for insurance. Here are a few reasons why you might want to consider travel insurance.

• Assistance with replacing documents. Everyone knows that travelling can be difficult and confusing, and sometimes puts your most important documents at risk of being misplaced or stolen. If an event of that nature takes place, you could be stranded for a while before you receive your replacement documents. • Unexpected cancellations.  Many times when you have travel planned, you may make reservations for flights or cruises and even obtain your tickets. Travel insurance can actually help compensate you for the amount you lost, so it’s a good idea to get the insurance as soon as you know you’re going on a trip.

 

• Replacement help. There are always horror stories where travelling is concerned about the propensity for baggage to be misplaced or incorrectly routed. Dealing with travel insurance helps with replacements.
