Winslet comfy in LA

Kate Winslet claims she finally feels comfortable in Los Angeles.

The British actress always insisted she hated the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood scene but now says she understands what Tinstletown is all about - hard working stars.

The 'Titanic' star, who lives in America with husband Sam Mendes and her two children, said: "I used to hate LA for all the reasons British people do.

"But I now understand that it's a town that's all about movies. You shouldn't feel suffocated by that but realise that everyone there has a genuine passion for films. You meet really famous celebrities, world-famous actors, and they still work incredibly hard and really care about what they do.'
